WELCOME TO SAGARA EDUCATION AND DEVELOPMENT SOCIETY( SEDS)

Sagara Education Development Society (SEDS), came into existence through the ardent search of like-minded persons, committed for a cause; who dream of a casteless and classless society of children, youth, women, elderly, and the differently-abled, free from poverty, illiteracy, unemployment, and illnesses.

MISSION

“To work with marginalized sections such as Dalits, tribals, women, youth, children, differently-abled, elderly of the society towards their empowerment and assist them to evolve a vision of an alternate society including safe environment and pesticide-free agriculture, alternative models of social-economic relations and developmental plans”.

PHILOSOPHY

That all women, men, children have the basic right to dignity and self determination and that all people should have the opportunity and choice of enhancing their own potential and well-being.

ABOUT US

Mr. Santhosh spearheads SEDS based on his hands-on experiences gained, having worked actively in the field of Child Care and Protection for two decades, especially he worked with a national level NGO called ARUN -RAINBOW Homes Program for 10 years. Experience makes a man perfect is his catchword of Santhosh and he doesn't stop reaching his Goal until he touches the lives of millions of deprived children, youth, women, and elderly in our Society.

His passionate involvement originated from 10 years of committed and dedicated services rendered to underprivileged children in the metropolitan cities of Bengaluru and Chennai. 16 years of active involvement in the Youth groups, especially working with rural youth. He is an International Trainer and membership in 7 international organizations such as FAO, MiJARC, PAN AP, CSM, IPC, TWN, IRYF.

TEACHING METHODOLOGIES

Sagara Education and Development Society (SEDS) was founded by Mr Santhosh in the year 2013 with the aim of coordinating Social & Community Health Care Services to the poor, educate underprivileged children, develop rural youth and reach out to the most neglected sections of our society. His passionate involvement originated from 10 years of committed and dedicated services rendered to the underprivileged children in the metropolitan cities of Bengaluru and Chennai. 16 years of active involvement in the Youth groups, especially worked with rural youth. He is an International Trainer and membership in 7 international organizations such as FAO, MiJARC, PAN AP, CSM, IPC, TWN , IRYF.

AGROECOLOGY

ENVIRONMENT DAY

World Environment Day is celebrated annually on 5 June and is the United Nations' principal vehicle for encouraging awareness and action.

COMPUTER TRAINING

The objective of the course is to impart basic level computer appreciation programme with more emphasis on hands on training.

EXPOSURE VISIT

Exposure visits are organised so that people living in one place can visit another location to observe and learn from the other community's development activities.

COMMUNITY SGH GROUP TRAINING

The objective of the training is to enable the participants to understand and put into the perspective the need and justification of the formation.

FASHION DESIGN

Fashion design is the art of creating clothing and accessories.As an art practice, fashion design is intertwined with culture.
